"I've been going to Kosher Fitness on a weekly basis for a couple of months.
It's been great to have a set day and time for "me time".
Batia tailors an entertaining program designed to suit your needs and comforts.
There is space indoors and outdoors to workout so according to the weather you can choose!
It's lovely to workout with the warmth of the sun shining on you! Most recently I hurt my hand, but that did not faze Batia.
She designed an excellent program to workout without straining my hand. It's worth every minute of it! It's versatile and refreshing!

"Hi - my name is Sherry K and I am 73 years young.
I have been doing one on one Pilates with Batia for just over 2 years and it's because of her and her attitude that I chose the words I did, to introduce myself.
She works me like a task master during our half hour sessions, but is endlessly positive, giving constant encouragement - using words such as "great, terrific, excellent etc" and staying totally focused on my areas of specific weakness and vulnerability.
She has an endless repertoire of different exercises which keep the sessions fresh and interesting, and it is a real joy to for the first time in my life, to be exercising to her tasteful and uplifting Jewish music.

"I am extremely grateful to Batia for the work we have done together in the past year.
Her warm responsive manner, experience, and exceptional clinical skills, as well as the private kosher setting with Jewish music, have all contributed to a holistic approach which has enabled me to move in ways I have not been able to for more than 30 years.
I have severe osteoarthritis in my neck and lower back as a result of a major car accident as a child. In addition I have autoimmune arthritis in my hands and feet. As such I was very hesitant to move/try new things in case I exacerbated my problems. With gentle encouragement, and listening carefully to my feedback, slowly, slowly I have gained strength and mobility. I can now look up at the sky, raise my arms above my head, and lean back in a couch, among other movements I used to find too painful and difficult. For the first time in many years, I am finding joy in movement again.
