Exercise sessions are personalized programs tailored specifically for each individuals’ needs in order to help reach their own personal goals. Private sessions give clients more flexibility in where, when and with who they exercise. Clients can do individual one on one sessions, or you can invite a couple of friends or family along to form your own group. Sessions can be held in the Kosher Fitness Studio, in clients’ own setting where Batia will bring all the necessary exercise equipment, or on the internet through Zoom.

This is a fantastic option for older clients who want to improve their abilities to perform daily activities. Batia uses her knowledge as a Geriatric Physiotherapist to design individualised specific exercises that cater for each clients personal goals.

Small Group Pilates Session are a gentle way to effectively improve full body strength, flexibility, balance, endurance and mind-body connection. Sessions are designed to challenge all ranges of fitness levels. Batia integrates her knowledge as a Physiotherapist in order to safely guide every individual in each small group within their own personal abilities, modifying every movement in order for everyone in the class to feel challenged at their current level of fitness. Group sessions are limited to a maximum of three clients in order to ensure individualized attention to optimize support throughout their health and wellness journey.
At Kosher Fitness there are two types of Small Group Pilates Sessions; Group Chair Pilates, and Group Mat Pilates.
Exercises are done using a solid sturdy chair (sitting on, standing next to, and kneeling next to) best for women who find it challenging to repeatedly get up from and down to the floor safely. These sessions are a fantastic way to improve your fitness level if you are a beginner to exercises, have balance issues, or have a limited range of motion. Batia loves to add variety by incorporating various different equipment such as: Pilates small balls, foam rollers, balance mats, resistance straps, steps and weights.
Exercises are done on comfortable thick mats on the floor in various positions (standing, sitting, kneeling, side lying, lying on stomach and lying on back).
