If it’s your 1st time attending the studio, I recommend arriving 5 minutes early to familiarise yourself with the studio. Otherwise, clients can arrive up to 5 minutes early to allow time to change and get settled.
Studio sessions are located inside the residence of 20 Alston Grove, St Kilda East. For Private Sessions, you can knock on the front door. For Group Sessions, take the footpath on the right side of the house, turn left into the sukkah area and enter through the back sliding glass door.
Sessions that start late due to a client’s late arrival will still end at originally planned end time.
If you do not show up for a scheduled session without either cancelling or rescheduling, you will be charged for the session, or if the session is part of a pack, it will be deducted from the pack.
By scheduling sessions with Kosher Fitness Personal Training, blocks of time have been reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your Personal Training Session, please call or text Batia on 0412 404 740 as soon as possible. A 12-hour notice is required to avoid being charged the full fee for the training session, or if it is part of a pack, to avoid that session being deducted.
kosher fitness uses a variety of equipment, including free weights, resistance bands, balance mats, foam rollers, a Pilates reformer bed, Pilates balls, and cardio machines. Training programs are customized based on the client's goals and preferences.
Group sessions are 45 minutes long, while private sessions can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on your preference.
This will depend on your fitness level and your financial and time budgets. Batia works closely with potential clients to help guild them with what would be most beneficial for them.
Kosher Fitness fosters a welcoming and inclusive community primarily designed for modest women. However, Batia works with a few male clients, typically couples or older gentlemen who require supervision with exercises.
Clientele spans diverse ages, fitness levels, and abilities.
Wear something comfortable. I recommend leggings, but you don’t have to wear them. The gym is completely private. You can choose to wear a skirt over your leggings, just leggings, or just a skirt while exercising. If you do wear a skirt ensure it has an A-line or circle cut (wide so you can freely move your legs without constriction).
If you cover your hair, I recommend either an exercise Sheital, or a snood or scarf preferably with a slip-knot band underneath, or if you do not cover your hair, make sure it stays out of your face by pulling it back.
For feet, I recommend either runners or socks with grips.
Please bring a water bottle.
No, many of my clients don’t own leggings. Just be sure to wear a skirt with either an A-line or circle cut so your movements won’t be restricted.
